Seattle City Light (Skagit Hydroelectric Project) Selects PLS Consulting
Portland, Ore., August 1, 2013 - Seattle City Light has selected PLS Consulting, Inc. (PLS) to develop and implement a technical succession strategy for its hydroelectric facilities.
The Skagit Hydroelectric Project consists of dams generating hydroelectric power on the Skagit River in northern Washington.
PLS Consulting has been selected to provide expert support to Skagit Hydroelectric by creating actionable solutions to provide cost effective means of ensuring the organization can meet its business requirements and objectives year after year. PLS will conduct a thorough workforce analysis and strategy determining demand, supply, gap, and solutions; and implement a knowledge management process to identify, capture, and transfer legacy operating and maintenance knowledge to successor/replacements.
